WOLF School Santa Cruz Overnight Summer Camp 2017

WOLF School’s Summer Nature Day Camp is the perfect choice for those that want the summer camp experience without the overnights. Held daily, Monday through Friday the week of June 12-16, 2017, Summer Nature Day Camp is open to all K-6th graders. Set in the redwoods at Camp Monte Toyon in Aptos—located off of Highway 1 near Santa Cruz—Summer Nature Day Camp features a science and nature theme all week and an outdoor adventure every day! Kids are invited to come one day or attend the full week and join WOLF School naturalists and friends in camp arts and crafts, cooperative games, fun activities, field trips to Nisene Marks State Park and Seacliff State Beach, and more.

For that true, overnight summer camp experience, sign your campers up for WOLF School’s Summer Nature Residential Camp! Kids will enjoy a week of fun, friends, and outdoor exploration in the stunning redwood forest at this 5 day/4 night overnight camp, open to 4th-8th graders and held June 19-23, 2017 at Little Basin Cabins and Campground, part of Big Basin Redwoods State Park and located in the Santa Cruz Mountains between Santa Cruz and San Jose. From identifying native plants and their uses, to learning how to make fire and helping prepare their own meals, children will make a deeper connection with their public lands, and learn about their role within the web of life. Highlights of the week include geocaching, tie-dye, solar cooking, forestry, hiking, sleeping under the stars, and more!

Summer camp isn’t just for the kids…WOLF School wants everyone to experience the thrill and impact of the outdoors! WOLF School’s DIY Family Camp invites all families to Little Basin for a weekend of outdoor exploration and family relaxation while camping in the majestic redwood forest. With three weekends to choose from— July 13-16, July 20-23, or July 27-30, 2017—there’s no reason you have to miss out. This is a great opportunity to inspire a DIY, or do-it-yourself, spirit within your family, empowering your kids with a can-do attitude in a fun, outdoor environment. Throughout the weekend (Thursday-Sunday), families can bond during family softball games, guided nature hikes, shared meals, and musical campfires. Adults can also take advantage of much deserved relaxation times, as WOLF School’s professionally-trained naturalists guide kids on outdoor adventures and camp activities.
