Campers: All K-6th graders are welcome to join the fun!
Counselors: If you're 16-18 years old and eager to lead and inspire, we have limited counselor positions available. Contact us to apply.
Where does the magic happen?
Our camps take place Monday to Friday at the enchanting Camp Monte Toyon, an all-outdoors experience in the heart of the redwood forest. Monte Toyon is a beautiful and serene camp nestled in the heart of Aptos, California, just minutes away from the stunning beaches and adjacent to the enchanting redwood forests of Nisene Marks State Park. Monte Toyon is an adventurer's paradise with numerous nature trails, a rhododendron garden, and easy access to various hiking trails. Our camp staff is experienced, welcoming and dedicated to ensuring a safe and enjoyable stay for all campers.

This year, we are excited to announce our weekly themes, giving campers the opportunity to choose a camp experience that aligns with their current interests. The best part? If your young explorer wants to attend multiple weeks, each session will offer a unique experience, ensuring new adventures and discoveries every time!
Session 1: June 16 - 20
Curious Creatures of the Redwood Forest (Ages 5-7) Discover the secrets of the redwood forest's unique inhabitants through nature walks, hands-on discovery, and engaging stories. Perfect for curious young minds eager to explore rare and fascinating organisms.
Redwood Forest Explorers (Ages 8-11) Embark on a week of adventure and discovery! Explore redwood ecology, master survival skills, and enjoy activities like tie-dye crafting and solar experiments. End the week splashing in the creek and exploring water ecosystems.
Session 3: July 7 - 11
Cycles in Nature (Ages 5-7) Explore the natural cycles that sustain life on Earth and in the redwood forest. Investigate decomposers, the water cycle, and life cycles of plants and animals through interactive activities.
Forest Friends Adventure Quest: The Nature of Teamwork (Ages 8-11) Embark on an epic forest quest! Complete outdoor challenges, master survival skills, and learn the power of collaboration. This camp is filled with discovery, teamwork, and unforgettable adventures.
Session 5: July 21 - 25
Growing Redwood Stewards (Ages 5-7) Discover the magic of the redwood forest while learning about conservation, solar energy, and teamwork. This camp builds foundations for environmental stewardship.
Old Growth Redwood Stewards (Ages 8-11) Become a steward of the ancient redwoods! Engage in hands-on projects to protect and care for the environment, fostering leadership and environmental responsibility.
Session 7: Aug 4 - 8
Curious Creatures of the Redwood Forest (Ages 5-7) Uncover the secrets of the redwood forest's unique inhabitants through nature walks, hands-on discovery, and engaging stories.

Old Growth Redwood Stewards (Ages 8-11) Deepen your knowledge of redwood ecology and explore conservation efforts and renewable energy. Engage in hands-on projects to protect the environment and build strong community bonds.
