Summer Camps with Web of Life Field Schools and Camp Sea Lab

As summer approaches, everyone on the WOLF school team is getting excited for all the awesome camps we will be having. With the efforts of our trees and seas teams working together, we will be running an abundance of different types of summer camps! So if you're a parent or caregiver looking for a fun adventure for your nature-loving kiddo, look no further. In this post we are going to break down the details of all of the amazing camps happening with Web of Life Field School this summer.

All of our camps are week-long camps that run Monday to Friday. 

Summer Nature Day Camp at Camp Monte Toyon in Aptos

Summer Nature Day Camp is an incredible experience for the kids ages 5 - 11 in your life. Camp runs from June 10th to August 13th.. Drop off is at 8:30 am and pick up is by 4:00 pm. 

Has the young explorer in your life ever wondered what animals live in the Redwood forest? Are they curious about how solar energy works? Do they want to learn more about survival, shelter building & outdoor safety? At Summer Nature Day camp students will get to learn about all these things and much more as they explore and navigate through redwood habitats. Our program encourages kids to connect with nature and community through exploration!

Camp SEA Lab Day Camp in Monterey

Camp Sea Lab Day Camps are filled with fun aquatic adventures and marine science activities. Drop off is at 8:30 am and pick up is at 3:00 pm. Campers are required to be able to swim to join in this ocean-filled adventure. 

We are running three unique day camp programs. Stewards of the Sea is for kids ages 10-15. In this program, campers will embrace their inner scientist as they learn about marine ecology and ocean conservation while exploring numerous habitats along the Monterey Coastline. Beach Biology and Breakers is for campers ages 8-13. This program will be the perfect beach bash for your young ocean adventurer. They will be reveling in the excitement with all the ways they get to explore at the sandy beach habitat. Ocean Forest Odyssey is for kids ages 8-13. During this program, curious kids will get to investigate the nearshore habitats. They will discover what lies beneath the surface as they explore tidepools and kelp forests.

Camp SEA Lab Overnight Camp in Monterey

Camp SEA Lab’s Overnight Camps are packed full of learning about the marine environment through hands-on exploration. Drop off is at 1pm on Monday and pick up is at 1pm on Friday at Stevenson School in Pebble Beach. Campers are required to be able to swim to join in this ocean-filled adventure. 

We offer a variety of different programs that explore Monterey's spectacular marine environment. Kelp Forest Quest is for kids ages 12-16. Campers will explore the kelp forest from a plethora of perspectives as they learn about all the different aspects of its ecosystems. Keepers of the Coast is for campers ages 12-16. This program calls to all young coastal conservationists as it focuses on marine science careers, ocean advocacy, and stewardship, all while getting hands-on and exploring. Curious Creatures of the Bay is for campers ages 10-13. Kids will be in awe as they explore the diversity of species that call Monterey Bay their home with this camp as they learn all about ocean animal adaptations.

Camp SEA Lab Voyage Seaward

Camp Sea Lab’s Voyage Seaward is a nautical adventure where campers live aboard a classic 82’ schooner sailboat! This camp is for students ages 13-16. Teens will set out on an expedition to explore the sea while learning about physical oceanography, coastal marine ecology, history, and traditions of seafaring life all while learning to sail.
