Current pack options are Monday - THursday 8:30am-4pm, 8:30am-1pm, or 1-4pm
Cost = $10/hour - 1 student, $18/hour - 2 students, $24/hour - 3 students
Register for 4 week session, 14 students max per pack
If you are interested in joining a pack, please email us which days and times you prefer, and that will help find you a spot. You can do Monday - Thursday, or select the number of days you wish to attend (minimum 2). Please contact us if you have any questions!
The morning times are more geared towards getting classes and assignments done, while having play time in the forest during breaks. The afternoon times have more time for nature walks, exploration, games, and free play.
It is located at Camp Monte Toyon, in Aptos. Students will be in an outdoor space where they can do their zoom class and class activities at their own table. During recess breaks there will be distanced play out in the redwoods nearby, while wearing masks. See pictures below! An adult is there to supervise and help with accessing the internet, getting into class, and getting class work done during independent study times. It is a small stationary group of up to 12 kids that will be with one adult pack leader. We are limiting any contact with other students, using one bathroom for one pack only, and cleaning everything at the beginning and end of each day. There will also be a health screening and non touch temperature reading to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy.
