| Your Choice of Northern California
Campuses in Santa Cruz,
Sonoma, Sierra
Foothill areas! Choose an environmental education
campus based on your travel budget, educational goals and desire
to be near/far from your school. From the coast to the Sierra
Foothills, the WOLF School can provide a wonderful educational
adventure in many different habitats! Our seven campuses offer:
- Student dormitories and cabins
- Teachers’ lodging
- Healthy, kid-friendly meals
- Excellent field study opportunities in the outdoors
Student Dormitories and Cabins
Students attending the WOLF School stay in modern dormitory or
cabin style lodgings equipped with comfortable bunk beds. Each
room accommodates 4-14 students. Bathroom and shower facilities
are modern and centrally located. Accommodations vary from
rustic to retreat style, depending on the campus. For example
some offer bathrooms inside the cabin and others offer a central
bath house.
Teachers’ Lodging
Comfortable living quarters are provided for visiting teachers
in modern cabin or dormitory style rooms. Bathroom and shower
facilities are modern and centrally located. Accommodations vary
depending on the campus.
Healthy meals
All meals are provided by a professional food service staff and
served in the dining hall. We provide healthy, kid-friendly food
in either a buffet or family-style setting.
Students are welcome
and often return for seconds and third portions. Every effort is
made to provide menu alternatives for children, chaperones,
teachers and staff with special dietary needs (for example food
allergies, religious restrictions, vegetarians). To plan for a
special diet at the WOLF School, please notify the
WOLF School
Office at least two weeks in advance of your program.
An example of a typical day’s menu consists of pancakes,
cereal and fruit for breakfast, build your own sandwich (turkey,
ham, peanut butter and jelly, cheese, vegetables, tofu),
carrots, apple, trail mix and cookies for lunch, pasta with
choice of vegetarian or meat sauce, salad and bread for dinner.
Excellent Field Study Opportunities
Each campus offers different opportunities for living and
learning. From newly built Camp Tuolumne Trails, just outside of Yosemite National Park to Santa Cruz’s Camp Monte
Toyon and Happy Valley, where outdoor science school can really
focus on redwood ecology and coastal studies, each campus offers
something different. To discuss the opportunities available at
each campus, call the WOLF School Office or click on the link
below to see more about each campus. All reservations for WOLF
School programs are made through the WOLF School Office at
831-684-0148. Do not contact the facility directly to book a WOLF
School program. All WOLF School
information is available only through the WOLF School Office at

member, call 831-684-0148. In case of emergency, call
